st.patricks day.. aka green day!

st patrick's day was FULL of green.. since this is a day of no uniforms, EVERYONE took advantage and wore a lot of green. didn't realize there were so many shades haha. the week was fun of st. patrick's day spelling words, and teaching them about leprechauns and st. patrick.

william had fun dressing up!and he let me borrow his hat and glasses.. like my shamrock nylons?! :)"green day" was also an opportunity to teach about the environment, so one of the activities i planned was for each student to plant their own flower seeds in a cup.. it was an exciting new project for them. lots of fun.. and they can't stop checking their cups to see if any are growing!
